The KIDS' Art Foundation develops and funds projects which focus on children who have more challenges but fewer opportunities in life. You can think about children living in slum areas, orphans, children of prostitutes or children whose parents are addicted to drugs or alcohol anywhere in the world

These children have mostly access to schools but these schools have generally overcrowded classrooms, exhausted teachers and insufficient resources. As a result, the percentage of drop-outs is high and level of education less than would be desirable.  With our projects we intent to create a space where children get individual follow up and attention. In other words improving the quality of their education so that they do not just become innocent victims of their circumstances

Offering Art to those children will develop their self esteem, will show them that they matter, that we believe in their talents. Through literature, music, painting, sculpting, photography they will be able to express their feelings, tell their story and get familiar with a wider spectrum of possibilities to handle emotions. Their self awareness will increase of their place in the world. Moreover, creativity is the key to develop the problem-solving capacity. And Reading and Writing workshops will tremendously improve their chances of success at school

These types of projects have also been proven to be successful in delinquency prevention. A child who feels respected and valued, and sees progress in school achievements; who learned that her/his future is in his/her hands is far less inclined to chose a destructive path, because they were provided the tools to be better equipped for life and make choices as responsible people. That gives hope. The impact will carry much further as well,  because when those children grow up and are able to do something with their lives, they are often the ones who go back to their communities to share what they have learned
